Major Projects

  • Originated positions of “Assistant Director, Marketing and Communications, in charge of Web Communications” at Nazareth College and “Manager, Web Communications” at Monroe Community College.
  • Created online communications and social networking strategies. Implemented audience-centered blogs, in addition to the instant messaging, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube channels.  Helped construct social media press releases, and create feature-based story repositories.
  • Led  full-scale Web redesigns and re-architectures.
  • Acted as project co-lead — from requirements gathering to specifications creating to implementation — on content management system implementation.
  • Planned, conceptualized, project managed and launched special Web projects including Presidential Inauguration sites, anniversary sites, online annual and President’s reports, holiday and end-of-year giving campaigns.
  • Researched and prepared annual marketing plan for the Higher Education Web Professionals Association. Met and exceeded goal of increasing conference attendance by 30% over two years. Coordinated, created and managed print, digital, and advertising materials.  Implemented use of new media tools such as Ning communities, blogs, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Analyzed, tracked and reported on Web statistics for clients such as Office of the President, Enrollment Management, Institutional Advancement, Office of Alumni Relations, the School of Health and Human Services, and more.
  • Created and conducted training workshops including “Social Media 101,” “Writing for the Web,” “The Basics of Blogging,”  and “Why Web Design: a Primer” for a diverse range of clients.
